"Just went for a winter swim in the Thames. Brrrrrrrrr..."

TV Presenter and adventurer, Ben Fogle, visited the club recently to promote a new series of “dogventures”. One of the “dogventures” starts in the centre of Henley and follows the towpath downstream to Temple Island.

Taking advantage of the facilities at the canoe club and Eyot Centre, Ben and his dog Storm, posed for photos and talked to visiting journalists. There followed an impromptu swim in the river despite the near arctic conditions!

Ben’s comment on twitter afterwards was a bit of an understatement.
